Theories
Our theory is focusing on the articulation, reflexion, introducing and (re)activating of feminist theories and radical epistemologies, new methodological, research, ... artistic and curatorial tools, on the expansion of feminist knowledge and practice, focusing on the contemporary social and political field, and on the creation of new synergies and connections. Our theory/research aims to extend feminist scholarship and practice in the social field, to support the political potency of feminist discourse and practices that are interdisciplinary and intersectional, interweavving diverse systems of formal and non-formal knowledge in relation to public space and public claims. On this moment of rapid transformations of public space, the emergence of all the more urgent claims in public space, which are related to multiple and persistent crises, economic, sociopolitical, humanitarian, the crisis of contemporary democracy and the rising of reactionary powers within the global imperative and its material parameters, a feminist techoaesthetic theory becames particularly urgent and critical. Thus, we work on developing the ground for an innovative and provocative theory and praxis. Read more

Practices
The projects concern collaborations of the Center for the production of new works or the presentation of works of an ... expanded network of artists that we have used as case studies in our theory, our workshops, our practices. The practices are the basis for co-creation of theory and artistic practice, for research based works and curating. The diverse practices, performance, re-enactment, video, the archive, API moderations, soundscapes to name but a few, bring forth new contents and instruments for reformulating not only the aesthetic production but public domain itself. Whereas, the public domain is constructed by the way we perform ourselves, from the language we use, the images we make, the representations we recycle, from the position we take, in the streets, in the social media, in any public expression towards critical issues, by the institutions. It is based on our convition that the public domain is mutated while the feminist intellect becomes responsible for the representation, the articulation, the enunciation and instituting of meaning. Exercising interactive aesthetic practices. During the development of the projects we conduct series of seminars where we meet, we invite colleagues, students and other participants and we discuss in theory and practice the proceeding of the works, working through a quasi participatory, an interactive theory and art making, via an open-ended moral conversation. Pedagogies
The Center has set as its focal point the strengthening of experimentation with new technologies, methodologies and applied practices and ... the communication with artists for the development of new works, cultural practices and theory which are developed under the roof of our program of diverse pedagogies and within our techno-aesthetic laboratory. We invest in an expanded pedagogy, organizing a variety of educational activities, inside and outside the academy, based on exchanges of formal and non-formal knowledges. The pedagogies of the Center experiment with concepts and methods of the art of new media, new technological applications, interactivity, augmented reality, virtual reality with emphasis on the relationship of the body to the digital and post-digital condition and matters and affairs of the public space / publicity. The educational activity of the Center and our technoaesthetic laboratory is based on the belief that the relationship between art and technology is not about a technophilic approach, which usually connects art instrumentally or formally with technology. It is about exploring eccentric approaches to a dynamic feminist technoaesthetic future. It concerns pedagogies that familiarize us and broaden our horizons on the basis of understanding feminist theory and its contribution in the context of the global technological imperative, the material conditions and the critical role of a feminist techno-aesthetic practice within it. The educational programs concern the organization of seminars, workshops, exchanges and residencies, discussions, reading groups and peer group meetings. Read more
